Paul Falconer BA (Hons) DipArch RIBA – Chairman
Graduating from Sheffield University with a BA Honours degree in Architecture in 1984, Paul embarked on his career at Holford Associates as a Project Architect for residential and commercial projects. In 1986 he joined Houston Boyce Partnership as an Associate managing their regional office and all architectural output including Orleans House (Liverpool) and Runcorn Swimming Pool. In 1989 Paul set up the Liverpool office of the Ian Darby Partnership. The practice was responsible for several re-generation projects.
In 1997 Paul set up Falconer Chester Architects to focus on the advances being made in the re-generation of Liverpool, including the re-development of the former Liverpool Airport complex. The practice became the leaders in City Centre residential re-development, changing the face of the city. His experience in commercial projects included; The Observatory, Liverpool Science Park and Cathedral Campus.
Other business interests include Governor at St Edwards College (Liverpool), and a Trustee of the Jonathan Falconer Charitable Trust.
