From M6/M62
M6 take Jcn 21 onto M62 Liverpool. Proceed to end of motorway and follow A5080 then A5047 Edge Lane to City Centre. There is a T-junction at the end of Edge Lane where you turn right following signs for tunnels and city centre (Hall Lane). Cross over Kensington at the lights then bear left to join Erskine St. Through 2/3 sets of lights following signs for Birhenhead Tunnel. The tunnel entrance / exit is on a roundabout opposite The World Museum Liverpool where you take 4th exit (U-turn) keeping to your left. Dale St is signposted as an immediate left turn taking you under the fly-over and onto Dale St. Temple St is approx. 500m on your left.
From M58
Proceed to the end of the motorway taking the A59 to Liverpool. Follow this road all the way into the city centre where you will arrive on Scotland Rd dual carriageway, follow signs for Birkhenhead tunnel. As above.
From Wirral, North Wales and Chester
Follow signs to the Mersey Tunnels. From the Kingsway (Wallasey) tunnel follow the signs to the city centre and Birhenhead tunnel along Scotland Road dual carriageway. As above.
