We are pleased to announce our winning entry
within the Public Realm category for the ACE/RIBA Award for Religious
Architecture 2005
Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, Liverpool.
The masterplan for the cathedral precinct
opens up a formal approach, and finally realises the vision of a grand
stepped entrance that aligns the building with Hope Street and the Anglican
Cathedral, completing a key axis that links the two. |

A revised
planning application has now been submitted for the vacant and under
utilised site adjacent to Liverpool's Lime Street Station. This proposal
seeks to provide a mixed use development combining a 160 bedroom
hotel, residential and commercial spaces in two blocks - one at
28 storeys the other at 14. The scheme, if approved,
would form part of the cluster of tall buildings emerging
at the “Lime Street Gateway.” |

Planning permission has been obtained for this dramatic, mixed
use residential and commercial development occupying a prominent
gateway location from the northern approach into Liverpool City
Centre. The design for 116 apartments, and two floors of commercial/retail
space, draws on a "pin wheel" approach to the arrangement
of four blocks which capture four key axes onto the site and cascade
in massing from 12 storeys on the periphery to 8 on the city centre
frontage. |

apartments,132 hotel bedrooms, retail, commercial & public
realm. |

The former Ritz Cinema on Lord Street Southport provides the setting

has now been submitted and a start on site is anticipated early next year. |

A planning application has now been submitted for
The Wireworks, mixed use development in Warrington
and provides 613 apartments above leisure, commercial
and retail units, with private, communal landscaped areas
provided for residents at first floor level.

offices and hotel, along with three storeys of car parking
underground. A decision and start on site are envisaged
in Spring next year. |
