Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King

Our masterplan for the cathedral precinct opens up a formal approach, and finally realises the vision of a grand stepped entrance that aligns the building with Hope Street and the Anglican Cathedral, completing a key axis that links the two.

The addition of a visitors' centre flanking the concourse approach and landscaped terrace give the cathedral valuable new facilities with improved accessibility and enhanced setting all serving to re-establish and re-connect the cathedral to the city.
